Crown beat Tavern 7:5 in a very tepid display by both teams although at one point we were 4:0 doon with Gary,Swal and Steesh still to play...

Some Clarification Required Please:
Could a committee member and/or a Representative from the teams (Clachan , Pennies A,) confirm that the re-scheduled Tavern Cup Final will now be contested next Tuesday (3/12/13).
The possibility of this date was briefly discussed at the last league meeting, but the Venue (as of last night), had not received confirmation.

Sad to say, but in my opinion, this resource as a means of communication, seems to have one fundamental flaw!..... anyone ?

Sorry Scott, this is still not the case.
(Asked Owner, Manager, Bar Staff tonight) could someone please post on here or contact the venue direct, to ensure this is confirmed.

I can confirm that there has been no contact with the tavern to inform them of the date.
But if Scott is telling me here that its a goer I will take that as official notification

just a polite comment for the league committee, The Tavern has still not received official confirmation of the final taking place and are taking it as happening on Tuesday the 3rd by supposition. The Tavern will provide catering hospitality for this date but if the event does not take place will be looking for recompense from the league.
Dreadful organisation.
