i'd always advocate 2 leagues, IMO one sure fire way to lose teams and players is to have one league, teams near the bottom would very quickly get fed up being regularly humped 7 - 1/2 etc by "superstar" teams.
I might be wrong but that would be my guesstimate.....
amount of teams entering obv dictates though.....

As Chippy says a reduction to 1 league would be a bit of a disaster to be honest. If only 2 or 3 teams don't rejoin next season we would have too many teams to have any sort of competitive league and you would find probably 2 or 3 teams dropping out half way through the season.
We should be doing everything we can to maintain a two league structure.
