Two no shows in the quarters.
This league is ticking along nicely.
Glad no one from the Braes League has been allowed on the committee to fk it up.
Still that will be 2x£15 fines for the accounts.
Sure it will be put to good use.

Sure the fact that it was V-day last night didnt help matters.....
I mean, who the fcuk thought that one up?
Simply no need to have cup ties on last night.
We were struggling for players too, but we did turn up and manage to field a side that was capable of winning (not last night though.....)
Cant help but feel there are far too many cups running in this league.
Not everyone wants to play Tue/Thu seeveral weeks in a row.

Sorry to say I've got to agree with you.
Hard enough for most teams to get 8 for a tuesday.
Twice a week no chance.
And if you win a cup.
You dont even get the wee plastic man till the end of the year.
Shambles.

moaning as usual. maybe should have been brought up when the fixture list was handed out at the start of the season. as to fines you should check the constitution as any fine for no show is all paid out the opposing team. also if you had been at the agm you could have objected to the presentation night then.

Thought you had left the country.
I know who gets the fine we were fined last year.
Who collects it?
Dont object to the presentation night.
I object to not receiving the cup on the night of the final.
Gave up on the AGMs for a wee while.
Might get back to the next one to noise you and Andy up a bit though.

All fine money has been paid to strathcarron, If memoery serves me correctly £141 for the Crown and £280 for the Mill Inn

So (effectively) the league has donated over £400 to strathcarron in the last few months - and no one knows about it?
Surely an opportunity to promote the league gone a begging?
I agree with Sauchie - Im sure the relevant teams would like a copy of the gratitude letter.

In hingsight this was an opportunity lost and hold my hands up to that. I have the gratitude letters in the house but I had asked the Strathcarron fundraiser team to send a copy out to the respective pubs. Will get them out to you Brian & Daz

One thing about last night was the table, it was so so slow. Who goes to look at these tables ??? That table has to improve or at least be brushed. Just not up to scratch im afraid.

I remember the Ten Gallon Hat you used to wear on a Saturday night up the toon.
If you look up Stetson on Wikipedia there's a crack'n picture.
It says it's some bloke called Tom Mix.
But I know it's you on your way to the Manique in the 70s.
p.s I think that might be me in the background with the bunnet + bowtie.
