Right guys just a wee reminder that I need to know a rough idea of IM numbers by the end of the month so I can speak to Rusty and Davy Anderson with regards to sponsorship for holding qualifiers etc, can all captains or folk who use the website ask the guys tomorrow if they will be playing next year and either post on here or text me the names (07850474662) The cost is now £30 rather than 25 but there are 2 extra IMs included. The Scottish Championships are still a fiver. Cheers

To the top just in case anyone forgot, or maybe its just a case of having 18 entries this year. This would have a negative effect for the superleague as well, since we can't possibly ask Rusty or Davy Anderson to sponsor this event for us.
If I remember correctly we have 3 teams going to the 15's so thats a minimum of 45 players from the district who are more than willing to play in these events but yet do not want to play IM's, why is this?
In addition the cost per player to the league works out thus
SPA affiliation £50
£60 expenses for every meeting attended (usually six but I have only been to 1 this year so far, but big steed is due money for representing falkirk)
£200 superleague fund from the league
Grand total £310, which could be better spent elsewhere holding our own version of IM's.
I do know that money is tight for a lot of guys, but why, when Falkirk has one of the biggest leagues in Scotland, is there so few IM entrants?
